Sarah Rodriguez- Local Coordinator

Hi! My name is Sarah Rodriguez. I have been a part of God’s family since I was 6 years old, and when I was 10 years old my mom put me in charge of a Sunday School class! When I was 15, I began to go to the CEF Christian Youth In Action trainings in Cedarville, Ohio, and learn how to teach the Bible and evangelize children through 5-Day Clubs. Fast forward decades later, I am still using many of the principles I learned in this training in a career as a church planter, along with my husband and 3 children. We have planted churches in Indiana, South Carolina and now have landed in Durham, NC since 2011. Our church will turn 11 years old this year! Church planting always has at the forefront outreach and evangelism, and now I get to evangelize even more people in my role as ministry coordinator for CEF of Durham!

My vision for the CEF Durham chapter for the future is to reach many children with the Gospel, and be a light in the community. 

I am in prayer for the schools in Durham, and for all the counties that the Durham chapter represents. I enjoy organizing prayer walks at different local schools.

My goal is to continue to support the current GNC teachers we have in Orange, Durham and Alamance County, continue my education as a trainer, continue prayer groups, support and mentor teens who are hearing the call of God to summer missions and beyond. 

I know God is calling me to do something that will usher more souls into the kingdom, especially children.
